Karen Wadey
Karen is currently studying on the MSc in Applied Positive Psychology at UEL. Prior to this she worked as a primary and secondary teacher for many years in schools in London and overseas. Her first degrees were in Psychology BA (Hons) and English BA (Hons). She then went on to complete an MA in English Literary Research, which fused her interest in the two subjects. Her research interests are in Educational Psychology, particularly looking at positive psychology interventions in Education and the wider community for children and adolescents. She is also interested in the use of different art forms (such as literature, creative writing, drama and dance) as vehicles for Positive Psychology intervention.
