Bridget Grenville-Cleave

MSc, MBA, FCCA Bridget Grenville-Cleave is the director of Workmad Ltd, which supports organisations and individuals in improving their performance using applied positive psychology, and a founder member of the International Positive Psychology Association. She is one of a handful of professionals in Europe to have qualified with the MSc in Applied Positive Psychology from the University of East London. She has presented her final year research, which focused on the well-being of professional people, at the Centre for Applied Positive Psychology Conference, Warwick University, UK, in April 2009, and at the First World Congress on Positive Psychology in Philadelphia, USA, in June 2009. She is now Associate Lecturer on the UEL MAPP programme and lectures on Positive Psychology on the MSc Business Psychology programme at London Metropolitan University. She regularly gives fun, engaging and practical presentations on the subjects of Positive Psychology, Happiness and Well-being to groups ranging from the Association of Business Psychologists and the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development to the local WI. Bridget is currently working on a UEL project to create a Happiness Curriculum for Haberdasher’s School. She writes her own Positive Psychology blog and writes regularly for the online journal, Positive Psychology News Daily. She co-authored the Happiness Equation: a scientific look at the top one hundred factors that can add to or subtract from your happiness (Adams Media, 2008) with Dr Ilona Boniwell. Bridget is also a passionate supporter of the Open University Business School, where she completed her MBA in 2000 and is a Business School Alumni director.
